Aesthetic Workshops
All of the advanced aesthetic workshops at Michigan Advanced Aesthetics will include:
history of the field, theory, safety, and hands-on applications. You will receive
a detailed handbook outlining important aspects of each course. A certificate of
completion will be awarded at the conclusion of each workshop.
Workshops will be held at Michigan Advanced Aesthetics med-spa in Royal Oak, Michigan.
All trainers are aesthetic professionals who work in the field on a daily basis.
Microdermabrasion - Learn the latest techniques in microdermabrasion treatments including:
history of the application, techniques, products, protocols, and patient consultations.
Includes theory and hands-on practice.
Chemical Peels - Learn the latest techniques, peeling agents, products, skin evaluations
and patient consultations, precautions, and safety.
Botox® This one day intensive workshops will cover the history, safety and administration
of Botulinum Toxin “A” .
Dermal Fillers- This one day intensive workshop will cover the history, safety, techniques,
and applications of dermal fillers. Filler demonstrations and hands on with popular
fillers such as: Perlane®, Restylane®, and Juvederm®. Patient comfort with topical
numbing and dental blocks will also be discussed and used in the hands-on portion
of the workshop.
Cosmetic Lasers- This intense one day workshop will cover anatomy and physiology
of the skin and hair. Practical applications, laser safety, current lasers on the
market, and hands-on applications.
